How to install Mambo


There’s another CMS script that you can use for your website and it’s called Mambo. Mambo is another content management system that works almost similarly to Joomla. It can be the foreground of a very powerful website as it contains libraries of add-ons and extensions that every webmaster can use.

Mambo is also easy to install, customize, and manage. Like Joomla and Wordpress, it also has a control panel system wherein you can update your site’s layout and content in with just a few simple clicks.

To install Mambo on your site, follow these simple steps:

1. Log-in to your hosting control panel.
2. Look for the Fantastico icon. Click on it. The Fantastico panel would open.
3. Look for Mambo on the list at the left side of the screen. Click on it.
4. Click on New Installation on the right panel.
5. Set the admin username and password for Mambo’s control panel.
6. Define the name of your site, your full name as the admin, and your email address.
7. Click on Install Mambo.
8. The screen would change and the Finish Installation button would appear.
9. On the third page, the details of the installation will be shown to you. Take note of it.
10. Log-in using this address http://yourdomain.com/administrator
11. You’ll be asked for your login details.
12. Type in the username and password that you have set previously.

And you’re good to go!
